Our lives have become mechanical. Grownups or children, everyone is busy. The last time a child leaves his cradle is the last time he actually lives life as he wants to live it. To let a child have the best of their growing years is to let them be free in their creative space. The creative act is the process of self-expression and it fosters mental growth in children by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, and new ways of thinking and problem-solving. It is believed that the first 7 years of a child's life is marked by imitative and sensory-based learning and developing non-cognitive abilities while the age 7-14 is the time to emphasis on creativity and imagination.

My Art for Life is one platform which gives liberty to express, innovate and develop life-skill through various specially curated workshops. Visual art and Theatre are two folds of life that help to gain self-confidence, self-expression, empathy and inspires fun. In today’s world where kids and adults both are facing different emotional adversities, My Art for Life provides a space for all to explore and grow with the creative spirit of life through different workshops and classes with professional artists and craftsmen. My Art For Life believes that “Art” is not just a hobby but a powerful medium to transform, connect and empower oneself.

Why Arts in Education is Important?

Art gives kids a chance to learn by doing instead of just being lectured about; it gives hands on experience. There’s no right answer in art, which means they can explore, build new ideas, and learn from both their successes and failures without negative consequences.

There's no doubt that a painting/theatre program makes kids better at everything they take on. Art programs have the potential to help improve a student’s memory and concentration skills, develop decision-making and critical thinking skills, enhance communication and listening skills, build focus and discipline. It helps them become well-rounded, well-prepared thinkers and citizens of the world – and that is how art helps in building individual.
